nick shared his life story, many people asked questions and then affirmed and encouraged him and the growth they've seen in him (not on him... he's kept that one on the d.l.)

it's amazing the insights into personalities that can come from answering questions such as...
would you rather have no children ever, or 12? (no alternative options... those are the only two possibilities you have to choose from, mind you)
or, would you rather be married to someone who is completely paralyzed or blind?
head-scratchers to be sure, but very revealing.

it's going to be in kate's classroom where we will screenprint eikon t-shirts, have a white elephant, eat pizza & other more christmas-like goodies, and even watch a christmas movie! it will require bringing of pillows & blankets, as there is not much in the way of comfortable seating (unless you enjoy stools & wooden tables...)
next week, we'll meet at nick & rob's place for jana's last night with us. to honor her, we will be hearing her life story then praying for her as she goes on to brazil for a while.
and casey's bringing the relational interaction activity!
should be a good time.
can't wait.

Man oh man was last night fun. Thanks Nick. And just to clarify, I don't think dancing would cause to much stress on my heart so I think I would be okay after the heart surgery. ;)
pretty sure Jana's going to BRAZIL...not Papua New Guinea. She's not Emily. :)
so that's the second example of me not paying attention to jana -- i hope she's not getting a complex!!
sorry jana.
I love the explanations of each of our expressions in the serious picture. :) And I love this blog.
